India Celebrates 73rd Independence Day Prime Minister Narendra Modi Hoist Tricolour At The Red Fort

On 15 August, 2019 Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoist tricolour at the Red Fort and delivers a speech to the nation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in the first Independence Day speech of his second term, said the government’s decision to repeal Article 370 was a step towards fulfilling Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s dream. Modi said the country had finally achieved the goal of One Nation, One Constitution and every citizen could proudly say the same.
