Suraj Muchhala - Little Known Facts

Suraj Muchhala is a well-known entrepreneur who has diversified interests in real estate, hospitality, educationand entertainment business sectors. He has a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, from AH & LA American Hotel and lodging association and is presently the MD. Muchhala Group. He began his career in the real estate development business and one of his early undertakings include his role as proprietor of the Suraj Water park, spread over 17 acres of land which is known as the pride of Maharashtra. The water park has won numerous international awards and is a six-time winner in the Limca Book of Records. Mr.Suraj was instrumental in increasing its annual number of visitors to 1.5 million from an initial figure of 500,000 visitors per year.

He has also been the main driving force behind the development and construction of the multiplex (Suraj Cineplex) in Junagadh, Gujarat, which is the first of its kind to be established in the district.  He was also behind construction of amusement theme park, Suraj Fun world, in Junagadh Gujarat.





  

  







He was fully involved in the family real estate business simultaneously with executing various projects, wherein he undertook the Goregaon - Sai Baba Enclave, a residential complex which comprises a whopping 250 flats, on 5 lakh square feet of land located in Goregaon, West Mumbai.

He also initiated the construction of an industrial area on 45 acres of land over an area of 4.5 lakh square feet in Boisar, Maharashtra in the year 2011-2013. Under his leadership, the project was developed to have state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure suitable for a number of dry industries and warehousing such as pharmaceuticals, textile, diamond, steel, iron, and jewelry with independent units set up for each of them.

He is also instrumental in a first of its kind project involving development of 30 million square feet of township in Boisar (Near Mumbai) which is around 110acre in  Maharashtra. The new project upon completion will be the largest township of its kind to be undertaken by the Muchhala group in Boisar with about 3000 flats, 832 retail stores in Sai Baba Boulevard, Boisar.

An industrious and illustrious entrepreneur, presently he divides his time between various projects in entertainment and real estate.
