Nikita Nayak’s Designs Spread Contemporary Weaves

Nikita’s Couture label from Bhubaneswar by Designer Nikita Nayak spreads contemporary waves at Delhi Times Fashion Week. Nikita who has a vast background of Manufacturing and Fashion Management had always heart in designing which is why she came up with her own label in 2016. Her Fashion house is in capital of Odisha and her designs are amalgamation of diversified culture and never-ending weaver tales. Apart odisha’s design, she carries interest in various styles and statements and her collection consist of designs apt for  Indian wedding along with Indo-western, western & Bohemian designs.

The Designer coordination for the event was done by Swagat Ranjan and the show was directed by renowned Fashion choreographer Lokesh Sharma who recently directed Three consecutive shows in Shop Qatar Festival.

 



While talking about her designs she said Our handlooms, paintings, artisans are known around the globe.  I am a contemporary designer and I am playing my hands around the famous handlooms & painting of Odisha. Participating in this fashion week was one overwhelming experience and I look forward to more such experiences.
