Car Rally By Rotary District 3141 For Spreading Skin Eye And Organ Donation Awareness

Mumbai: Car Rally for Organ Donation Awareness Car  was organised on Sunday 5 th January by International  Rotary District 3141 under the able and dynamic leadership of , Harjeet Singh Talwar Governor District 3141. Be flagged off the rally from Turf Club  via Five Garden Matunga  and concluded at National  burn Centre Airoli supported by Rotary club of North. On this occasion, Governor Harjit Singh Talwar, Harminder Singh Patheja, Avenue Chair for the Thrust Area of Skin , Eye and Organ Donation Awareness , Dr. Satya Aggarwal advisor , Rtn MEHUL  Shah and over 150 Rotarians were present. Along with over 30 members of Harvey DAVIDSON motorcycle Club and 8 Vintage Cars all supporting this great cause .

Let us tell you that the Rotary District 3142  has been running Organ Donation Awareness Campaign for the last several years, last year a car rally was organized from Mumbai BKC to Goa , Governor Harjeet Singh told that Ang Daan is Maha Daan  The lives of many people can be saved by pledging their Organs . , there is a huge difference between demand and supply, Rotarian  Harminder Singh Patheja  said that as people have become aware of blood donation the same way  eye donation  and skin donation is helping close the huge gap between demand and supply of organs. Many lives can be saved and each one of us can Live Beyond Life.

                       

At the same time, Dr. Satya Aggarwal said that the kidney is an organ that we can donate while living and the body of a donor does not have any adverse effect on his physical ability. See what else he said. See full report.
